AMD hat in den USA ein Kartellverfahren gegen Intel eingeleitet, in dem der Zweite im Prozessormarkt seinen Erzrivalen hart angeht. Konkret beschuldigt AMD Intel, im Markt für x86-Prozessoren unter Rechtsbruch ein Monopol installiert zu haben. Intels Verhalten gegenüber Computerherstellern, Distributoren, kleinen Systemherstellern und Einzehändlern erfülle den Tatbestand der Nötigung, behauptet AMD.
