Taiwan startup offers Class-D power amplifier

Analog and mixed-signal fabless chip company NeoEnergy Microelectronics has developed a Class-D audio power amplifier for the consumer electronics market. Typical applications will include digital televisions, computer monitors, and games consoles, the company said.

Augmented Reality is the process of layering computer generated graphics on top of real world environments, either directly or indirectly through a tablet or cell phone. The technology provides a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery, or in other words, it’s what the world would look like with the Internet layered on top of it.
GSA concerned over WSTS, may seek sales data role

The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) industry body has said it is concerned over the withdrawal of chip companies Intel Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. from the World Semiconductor Trade Statistics program. The GSA added that it is considering whether it has role to play in maintaining the availability of this type of data.
