Shareholders of Conexant Systems Inc. have filed a class-action suit against the company in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, claiming the communications semiconductor supplier failed to fully inform them about the company's deteriorating finances and inventory problems.

Comlent, a fabless RFIC design house, announced Tuesday (Dec. 21) it is the first Chinese company to successfully develop a whole radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) transceiver and power amplifier (PA) chip set for PHS/PAS handsets.
