Das schafft doch jeder: Man nehme zwei FPGA-Chips (Field Programmable Gate Arrays), packe sie auf eine Platine, und fertig ist der Prototyp. So bestechend einfach wie dieses "Kochrezept" klingt, ist die Entwicklung von FPGA-Prototypen leider nicht. Es geht nicht mit zwei FPGAs - und gänzlich unrealistisch ist es bei Designs mit fünf oder sechs solcher Bausteine.
