Revenues of the three largest EDA companies will probably decline for the fourth quarter of 2004, while bookings will be up, according to a report issued Thursday (Jan. 6) by Merrill Lynch analyst Jay Vleeschhouwer. The net result is "limited overall revenue and bookings progress," the report states.

Fu-Chieh Hsu, Président-directeur général (PDG) de Monolithic System Technology Inc. (MoSys), fournisseur de cœurs de propriété intellectuelle et d’autres produits, a annoncé, le vendredi 31 décembre, qu’il avait quitté la société à compter du 30 décembre 2004. Fu-Chieh Hsu, l’un des cofondateurs de l’entreprise, a invoqué ses récents problèmes de santé pour justifier sa démission.
