Aeroflex developed the Auto-Test software for its 2975 P25 Radio Test Set for P25 and FM radios. The 2975's Auto-Test software increases speed, consistency and accuracy of testing P25 and FM radios while providing the ability to store, print and share test results. For public safety and other private mobile radio (PMR) network users, the 2975 Auto-Test function allows non-technical personnel to test radios automatically.

Agilent released its IEEE 802.16e 2005 protocol conformance test (PCT) product that is based on its E6651A Mobile WiMAX Test Set, allowing equipment developers and test houses to run validated protocol test cases to verify that their implementations conform to WiMAX standards.

Agilent says it has introduced the industry's first complete optical receiver stress test solution. The Agilent N4917A test set is said to provide repeatable conformance and accurate characterization of receive optical sub-assemblies and transceiver modules operating up to 12.5 Gbits/s.

United Electronic Industries (UEI) developed the UEIModbus Cube, an Ethernet-based data acquisition and control interface that communicates with a host computer or PLC over Modbus TCP. The UEIModbus Cube functions as a Modbus slave accessed by any software client acting as a Modbus master. Most HMI software supports the Modbus protocol.
