For its second quarter, which ended Dec. 31, Bookham reported losses of $11.9 million, or 28 cents per share, on revenues of $60.7 million, compared with GAAP losses of $535,000, or 2 cents per share, on revenues of $62.6 million the previous quarter.
JDS Uniphase posts loss, margins up

Broadband communications products supplier JDS Uniphase Corp. reported a loss of $42.1 million, or 3 cents per share on sales of $312.9 million in its second 2006 fiscal quarter ended December, compared with a loss of $41.0 million, or 3 cents per share on sales of $180.5 million in the year-ago fiscal quarter.
