High speed image sensors are designed for applications like scientific research, crash tests, high-speed scanning, machine vision and military research. The sensors have resolutions from VGA up to 10Mpixels and some can run at 10,000 full frames per second. The outputs operate at speeds up to 50Msamples/s each, thus realizing a 5.5Gpix/sec pixel throughput -- the highest to date -- and with 10bit depth, the data throughput can be 55Gbit/sec.

Stackpole Electronics added 30 W and 50 W offerings to their TR series of TO-220 style, power film resistors. The TR series was previously offered in 20W and 35W configurations. This style of resistor is normally mounted along with various other power ICs to a heat sink maintained at 25°C.
