Wafer-scale CMOS X-ray imaging for medical apps Design How-To 8/10/2012 Post a comment There is a growing interest in the use of solid-state based X-ray medical imaging and detection systems in the replacement of conventional diagnostic imaging techniques. One of these technologies is wafer-scale CMOS sensor-based imaging, which can bring advantages in terms of performance such as high resolution, high dynamic range and low noise capabilities.
What are the engineering and design challenges in creating successful IoT devices? These devices are usually small, resource-constrained electronics designed to sense, collect, send, and/or interpret data. Some of the devices need to be smart enough to act upon data in real time, 24/7. Specifically the guests will discuss sensors, security, and lessons from IoT deployments.
