Power-One Inc., Camarillo, Calif., announced that in the fourth quarter of 2000, net sales increased 130% to a record $169.7 million, compared to $73.9 million for the same year-ago quarter.

Plagued by continuing component shortages, power supply vendor Artesyn Technologies Inc., Boca Raton, Fla., reported cash earnings of $0.27 per diluted share for the quarter ended December 29, 2000, compared with $0.35 for the comparable 1999 period.
