The Multicore Expo 2006, which is being held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Tuesday March 21 through Thursday March 23, looks set to be a mega-cool event, with lots of really interesting papers and presentations and companies to chat to.
Of particular interest (at least to me … and my mom is pretty excited about it also) is the fact that I'm going to be hosting a "Birds of a Feather Get Together" starting at 6:00 pm on the Wednesday evening (the actual location in the convention center is still to be determined).
Actually, we're calling this a "Birds of a Ruffled Feather!", because we're inviting a variety of different folks to debate what's best between Configurable, Reconfigurable, and/or Multicore Solutions, so you can only imaging how the feathers will fly (I never metaphor I didn’t like [grin]).
So if you're planning on attending the expo, come join us for a free-form engineering-level discussion in which you can pose your questions to industry experts and hear what the different device and core vendors have to say about their respective solutions.
