Good grief, it can't be Monday morning – I'm not ready for it (stop the world, I want to get off!). Life has been frantic this morning in the "Pleasure Dome" (it sounds better than saying "my office"); I've only done a fraction of the tasks on my "to do" list, but there's only so much one can do (sob sob).
As soon as I post this Blog, I'm going to close down my machine, leap on a plane, and fly out to silicon valley to attend the Multicore Expo 2006, which is being held at the Santa Clara Convention Center Tuesday through Thursday (March 21-23).
Amusingly enough, I just discovered that the little scamp who booked my flight has me down for a 3-hour layover in Houston (in order to save our firm some money, no doubt). I'm too young for all of this!
But I must away. I shall be reporting what's hot (and what's not) as I wend my weary way through the week (try saying that quickly). If you're attending the expo, grab me and say hi (the best way to gain my attention is to be holding a beer in each hand, because then I'll assume one is for me!)
And don’t forget the "Birds of a (Ruffled) Feather" meeting I'm hosting at 6:00pm on Wednesday evening. This will be a free-form engineering-level discussion in which you can pose your questions to industry experts and hear what the different device and core vendors have to say about their respective solutions.
