I was recently beguiled into checking out two online videos; one makes you want to laugh out loud and the other makes you want to cry (I'll let you decide which is which).
As I've mentioned before on occasion, there are always interesting topics bouncing back and forth at the "How Things Work" group at Yahoo. Mostly these topics actually do focus on how things work, but occasionally things wander off the beaten path, in which case you never know what's coming your way.
For example, I was recently beguiled into checking out two online videos – one makes you want to laugh out loud and the other makes you want to cry (I'll let you decide which is which).
First, there's an amazing video of four ladies rescuing 100 horses trapped on a small area of land during a flood – you need to have your sound on because the music really adds something to the video.
Second, we have a rather outrageous prank, in which some little rascals dig a huge pit on what appears to be a public walking path, fill it with water, cover it with leaves (so you can't tell it's there) and then film the poor unfortunates who walk, run, and bike their way into the mire.
