An artist and paleontologist collaborate to recreate Pac-Man's skull, while another artist creates a photorealistic image that makes you gasp in awe!
I was just meandering my way around the www.reddit.com site – as is my wont when I have a few moments spare between projects – when I blundered into two attention-grabbing websites that I couldn't wait to share:
Pac-Man's Skull: Most of us are familiar with the original Pac-Man computer game featuring a disembodied iconic head that one guided around a maze chomping anything in its path while desperately trying to avoid the enemy "ghosts". Well, artist Le Gentil Garcon and paleontologist Francois Escuillie have collaborated to create a resin vision of Pac-Man's Skull, which is based off human and predatory animals (how very "Twilight Zone").
Tica's Picture: This one is stunning – artist Dru Blair decided to create a photorealistic painting of a lady called Tica. Step-by-step photographs showing the creation of Tica's Picture are presented on this web page cumulating with the final image which is so life-like one can only gasp in awe.
