Can you help (a) decoding this message from a visitor and (b) providing an answer to his cryptographic comundrum?
I just received the following email (names changed to protect the innocent):
Good morning, Me name is XXXX XXXX, I am concluindo the graduation of Engineering of Communications. My final project is referente to the criptoprocessador with symmetrical algoritmo RC5 16/2/2 utilizandousando controller CPLD – EPM7128SLC84-15 of the it ALTERS.
I would like to know if something exists implemented in VHDL and which platform I could implement the same. Thank you for the attention.
Hmmm. How cunning. A cryptic communication about encryption using a cryptographic processor. A tautological tongue twister if you will (grin).
So, my understanding is that student XXXX, who is in the process of finishing his engineering degree in communications, is looking for the VHDL code to implement the RC5 16/2/2 symmetrical encryption algorithm in a MAX 7000 CPLD from Altera. Do you concur and, if so, can you help?
