With the help of the readers of Programmable Logic DesignLine, a student learns about the CRC-7 algorithm used by SD Cards and successfully completes his project.
Do you recall a few months ago when I posed a question about the CRC-7 algorithm used in SD Cards. This was for a student who was working on an MP3 player for his student project.
Well, based on responses from readers to Programmable Logic DesignLine, the student successfully completed his project. In fact, he just emailed me with a link to a video on YouTube showing the little scamp working (the MP3 player, not the student).
I tell you, it makes me feel like doing a "happy dance" (of which I promise you that there will NOT be a video on YouTube :-)
