Following on from my earlier blog about a Mega-cool Camera Lucida app for the iPad, I just ran across another very interesting app called Image Blender, which was created by Johan Andersson.
This is a simple and clean iPhone and iPad app with a single purpose – blending images together. You can use multiple blending modes (like Multiply, Overlay, Screen, and many more); you can also move, rotate, resize, and mask the top image.
The comments on the iTunes App Store are universally positive, with many pointing out that this app is constantly being refined and improved.
You can see some examples of the amazing effects one can achieve over on the Image Blender Group Pool
At only $2.99 from the iTunes App Store
, I think this is a real bargain. I just downloaded it and I intend to play with it this coming weekend (perhaps superimposing images of myself striding around alien landscapes).
