@Max Or how to mask your crestfallen look when you're told you have a ridiculous fake!

@betajet: My favourite was the story of the Horrible Heffalump...

I loved that one, but they were all good... I don't know if I could pick a favorite

@David: ...but it would be interesting to see what AR made of them...

It looks like the first show I would have a chance of attending would be in 2015, so that will give me time to practice my expression of surprise mixed with a tad of whimsical delight to accompany my gasp of "How much?"

@kfield: You could be worth millions!  :-)

My mom says I'm priceless (or worthless -- one or the other)

@kfield: Have you considered taking them to an antiques roadshow event to see if they can be authenticated?

Since I only became aware of the signature yesterday I haven't had much time. I just checked online, there is a roadshow in Birmingham Alabama on June 21, but the deadline to apply for tickets has long passed (sad face) -- but I'm going to start checking every month for the 2015 tour...

@zeeglen: A related childrens' bear song is "Teddy Bear's Picnic".

My dad used to sing that song to me when I was a little lad to help me go to sleep:
"If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise..."

I thought the Teddy Bears' Picnic was a 2002 movie satirizing the Bohemian Club :-)

@betajet My all-time favorite Winnie the Pooh line...

My favourite was the story of the Horrible Heffalump - no spoilers, google it.

Trivia - "Winnie" was a real bear at the London Zoo.  She got her name from the fact that her owner was from Winnipeg, Canada, my old stomping grounds.

Christopher Robin of the Pooh stories was the same character who "went down with Alice" (to Buckingham Palace, of course).  Youtube it.

A related childrens' bear song is "Teddy Bear's Picnic".  Again youtube it.
