Nice article, Bob and Melissa. But mentoring and encouraging students to STEM education can begin in high school. An excellent story that inspires great hope for the next generation of engineers, and also recognition that the 'old timers' can bring a lot of value in helping train that next generation. Melissa, best of luck in finishing out your senior year and in starting an exciting career as an EE!

A mentor's not paying forward they are paying back to those that taught them both good and bad lessons in the past. They may also be gaining the support of future boss or employer. The best look at learning as wheel that you take what you need and give what you can. Gordon
