LoL, not for the tragedy, but the silliness On the gas company not to accept blame. Here I am assuming that there may have been negligence from their side. Otherwise, I hope that the individual get high-volume/Industrial use rate! ;-) Reminds me of the local case of a home owner complaining for sewage backup into their home & Overtaking their complete first floor! That was stinky from so many angles

I loved the one about the missing van, and the gas bill: "It's possible Mr. Purdey has been charged for the gas used up during the explosion that destroyed his house" How kind of the gas company.

Re "What does this have to do with EE Times?" I don't know -- why are you wasting your time reading it and posting comments on it? (grin)

Have you seen the Anglo-eu translation guide? Google will find it in many formats - here is one: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tMUdmH7W4J8/Tqg5rw7J4eI/AAAAAAAACzE/PDquFrRMhjE/s1600/eyJNd-763188.png We use it as part of the introduction for new engineers, so they will understand me...

David Patterson, known for his pioneering research that led to RAID, clusters and more, is part of a team at UC Berkeley that recently made its RISC-V processor architecture an open source hardware offering. We talk with Patterson and one of his colleagues behind the effort about the opportunities they see, what new kinds of designs they hope to enable and what it means for today’s commercial processor giants such as Intel, ARM and Imagination Technologies.
