The first International Workshop on Reversible Computing kicks off in May 2005. An exciting group of top-notch presenters will be there and some ground-floor opportunities are still available to sponsor the workshop for some forward looking corporations.
The "First International Workshop on Reversible Computing" is going to be held in Ischia, Italy, on May 4-6, 2005, as part of the ACM Computing Frontiers conference. This public workshop seeks to further the practical realization of concepts for low-power reversible, adiabatic, and energy-recovering logic, and their penetration into industry. Please feel free to view the preliminary workshop program and abstracts, which are available at www.eng.fsu.edu/~mpf/CF05/RC05.htm.
This exciting ground-breaking meeting that stands to be the driving force behind the move to design next generation computing platforms, still has a few opportunities for some forward thinking corporations to co-sponsor the workshop. In this role, your corporate logo would be displayed on all official workshop materials, and brochures about your company can be distributed at the meeting. Finally, a representative from your company would be invited to join the panel discussion on the topic of "What next steps should the field of reversible computing take?" This is your chance to get exposure to an assembled audience consisting of experienced reversible computing and adiabatic circuit researchers, as well as interested attendees from the computer industry. This could be an opportunity to recruit some of the best and brightest minds in the field to work with your company on low-power computing research, and to advertise your company's products and technology to other industry visitors.
