Ever since I stuck my Maypo spoon into the wall socket at age 2, I've been wary of anybody who advised me to get more connected.
It shapes your psyche. All my life, I've lived with the fear that I'd perish in the electric chair or sprawled across high tension wires somewhere in the Midwest.
It even affects my daily routine sometimes. My wife and I camp in the Sierras quite a bit and she gets a bit upset whenever we drive there using California Rt. 4. Why? We travel 60 miles out of our way because I can't drive through Copperopolis.
I thought wireless was the answer. But it's not.
In addition to worrying about being fried I've also developed an irrational fear of electromagnetic radiation.
I guess I just worry a lot.
