The news came from two usually reliable sources and Zensys has moved its HDQ from New Jersey to the offices of its VC in Menlo Park.
One of the more interesting stories making the rounds at Embedded Systems Conference was the news that Zensys, a provider of wireless networking technology for control and status reading applications and the developer of Z-Wave, is for sale.
The news came from two usually reliable sources. Checking out Zensys' web site, there was a news release announcing that Zensys had moved from New Jersey to Menlo Park, CA www.zen-sys.com/index.php?page=407
With a little more research, it turns out that the new address in Menlo Park is also the address of Zensys' lead VC, Bessemer Venture Partners www.bvp.com/
There' been some interesting forum activity on Zensys. You can check it out at Knocking ZigBee out in home automation www.ccpu.com.
For the time being, I'll leave it to others to speculate on what this means in the big picture.
