I just posted two interesting pieces of news, one pertaining to Verizon and the other to Cingular.
I just posted two interesting pieces of news. One says that Verizon is rumored to be switching to a GSM-based system from its current CDMA system (Verizon, Sprint switching to GSM?). Hmm. Does mean they have to invest all over again in their infrastructure? On the flip side, maybe its time to make the switch. The rumor comes form a pretty well-placed source, but it seems a little far-fetched.
The second news item says that Cingular is going to offer downloads of TV shows form HBO(Cingular to launch 3G video service ). This is great news for Sopranos fans (of which I am one). I'd shell out the 99 cents to see who Tony's next victim is.
The near future is looking quite interesting.
