I just heard about a new Online Radio Show called Design News Radio. Their tagline is “Serving the 21st Century Design Engineer”. What a coincidence… that’s me… I R a Design Engineer and I’m living in the 21st Century… what are the odds?
The official spiel is as follows:
On this edition of Design News Radio, Keith Curtis, Technical Staff Engineer for Microchip Technology’s Security, Microcontroller, and Technology Development Division, will join Design News Senior Editor Charles Murray for a wide-ranging discussion exploring the latest developments in microcontroller-based mechatronic systems.
The two will discuss the latest microcontroller technology, and provide examples of how cutting-edge MCUs are transforming the role of mechanical systems in new products and manufacturing plants.
During the show, they’ll cover the following topics:
- Definition of mechatronics
- Mechatronics apps that are the most compute intensive
- Robotics and machine vision applications
- MCU features most important to engineers (clock rate, program memory, on-board RAM…)
- MCU aspects that are most overlooked
Towards the end of the show, Keith and Charles are also looking forward to interacting with you through instant chat.Click Here
