I'm all aquiver with anticipation, because I've been given the opportunity to present a free "Introduction to Electronics" online training course.
This will consist of five 1-hour sessions one a day Monday through Friday each starting at 2:00pm Eastern Time (which is 11:00am Pacific Time, or 7:00pm UCT/GMT).
VIP!!! Even if you miss one or more of the live presentations, you can still see the archived shows later.

I know it may seem strange, but teaching fundamental electronics concepts is something I love to do. I especially like to do it live so I can be there when someone has an "Ah Ha!" moment. I remember once giving a course to a 100 or so circuit board layout designers. I was explaining how you can make a NAND gate by taking an AND and inverting its output with a NOT, and then saying that one way to visualize this is that the NOT symbol is pushed back into the AND symbol until only the bobble (or bubble) remains visible as shown below:
I was drawing on a white board as I spoke this was before the days of having your notepad computer (which I did not own at that time) plugged into a monster projector and I heard a voice cry out "So THAT's what that circle means!"
I turned around and this guy was standing up with great big beaming smile on his face "high-fiving" the folks around him.
Now I'm sure that you dont need to attend, but maybe there is someone in your company in a non-technical role who doesnt have an engineering background perhaps in marketing or sales or purchasing who would benefit from this. If so, you might want to spread the word to someone in your organization's management and suggest that they pass the word around.
Actually, I would also really appreciate it if you could spread this information through your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) because I do like a crowd, and we will be having a live question and answer session at the end of each day's presentation.

where in addition to my Max's Cool Beans
blogs on all sorts of "stuff" you will find the latest and greatest design, technology, product, and news articles with regard to all aspects of designing and using microcontrollers.
Also, you can obtain a highlights update delivered directly to your inbox by signing up for my weekly newsletter just Click Here

Last but certainly not least, make sure you check out all of the discussions and other information resources at All Programmable Planet
. For example, in addition to blogs by yours truly, microcontroller expert Duane Benson is learning how to use FPGAs to augment (sometimes replace) the MCUs in his robot (and other) projects.
