It just amazes me how many connected things there will be to make truly autonomous cars - not only car to car, but signs and signals to cars and possibly even road sensors. The list goes on when we think of all of the information that 'may' be useful.

Brian, The statement "Our communication networks will be used to connect objects..." has already been put to past tense! We connected objects surpassed people in 2012. But it will be PEOPLE who will end up programming these to execute the functions expected of the objects. And there in lies another challenge of how useful- and not-intrusive these will be!
