It's a community issue

EE Times was always known for covering the electronics industry with a three-pronged approach: technology news, industry news and news about the people who make up the industry. As a print publication in its early years that three-legged stool is what set the weekly's content apart. Today, in the Internet era, it's all about people and what people do, want and need as designers and engineers. I commend the immigration coverage, and look forward to many more discussions on the vital link that covers the ethos and features the strength of this vital global industry. EEs and their friends should be able to air their views on their own community site, which with the recent redesign, has eloquently expanded the EE Times brand. Congratulations to all the hard-working journalists and support staff who have brought the eetimes.com site into the 21st century...and beyond!
