One wonderful thing about "EETimes" is that it brings topics to our attention that we might otherwise have completely missed.  Such is the case with this overview of the SPHERES program. I'd not appreciated that this work was being done - and I especially appreciate the reminder of Asimov's "laws of robotics".

It appears as if the last line of my blog was dropped. In order to fully support Asimov's third law, it has to be able to detect a human and know that it is different from another robot. I wonder if they are working on this so that they can start building towards the second law?
