The Huntsville Hamfest was definitely a blast!! I just had to make too many trips back to the car with all my plunder.

Next year I'll bring a pushcart to hold all the stuff and wear my Capnet beanie so us geeks can find each other.

And here's a Ham show Doug Grant wrote about in July. Apparently it's a huge show--the biggest in Europe, according to the article. It's the Ham Operators' Paradise at Friedrichshafen's Flea Market and it has a lot of Soviet-era keepsakes.

Good find on the $2 meters. And someday I will ask about the "Man vs. Woman Display-O-Meter."

Hi Rick -- I'm still embarrassed that I didn't think to bring my wireless mesh networked propeller beanie (click here to see these little rascals in action) -- maybe for next year we shoudl modify the code so that they help you hone in on a fellow wearer -- maybe flashing the led that points in the right direction -- or getting them to emit "hotter" and "colder" sounds...

Ooohhhh -- I would LOVE to go to that one. My problem is lack of space -- did you see the Welcome to the Pleasure Dome video and slideshow about my office?
