David, what is the trade-off (lack of flexibility? inability to make changes, or make them at exorbitant hourly rates?) in buy versus make?

Interesting how the IEEE, NIST, Qualcomm (Alljoyn) and others are jumping into the fray to create the missing connectivity standards for IoT.
