Cool that yoyur camera could actually pick up a bit of the 3-D effect.

I remember when Intel was big on LCOS as the next big thing for flat-screen TVs. LCDs won, once again, but maybe glasses are a good role for LCOS.

What the camera was picking up was the quick and accurate positional tracking. That alone almost makes it feel like it is 3d. However, when you're looking through the glasses you also get stereo vision which gives true depth perception as well. 

It was really cool and I could see this as being an engineering tool. Visualizing an object as a solid and being able to manipulate it could be quite helpful.
