Thanks for the comments, Andy. I appreciate all comments and thank you for catching the typo's. Yes, it is brief, but as you can see even this short piece had to be broken up into 4 parts. 

I have a new book comibg next year the will include all the detail you expect and more.

Check your units and their abbreviations.  A second is appreviated s, not S.

 

Not bad otherwise, but way too brief for my tastes.  Should have a lot more explanation about WHY, not just the WHAT.  Also I think the last sentence deserves more than a brief mention.  One should always try changing the settings, even if you think you know what you are seeking.  You often find something you weren't looking for.  What if the engineer in this case was looking only for high frequency noise?  He could have missed the min/max voltage problem entirely.
