Up to 100 countries involved in some way, that truly is international cooperation. At the same time, the long-awaited and very important step is that of commercial space systems, which are apparently starting to appear as is the case with SpaceX. X-Man, Star Wars

There have been many comments criticizing the technical errors in that movie . With your first hand interaction with space engineers you can throw more light on these technicalities. I think it

That would be fun. I haven't seen the movie yet though, I'll have to just take their word for it!

@Caleb,

It would be great if you can throw some light on the Space station features and may be compare them to what we have seen in the movie "Gravity".

I was fairly surprised at the number of agencies that have contributed. That kind of collaboration seems like it would be completely impossible based off of the typical government security stances.

Up to 60 countries involved in some way, that truly is international cooperation. At the same time, the long-awaited and very important step is that of commercial space systems, which are apparently starting to appear as is the case with SpaceX. That may be the best way to break from reliance on the multiple space agencies from multpile countries which, while a great sign of international cooperation, must be cumbersome in some ways.
