Hi Melody,

Always interesting to know wher to study more about exciting things and you are right high power technology lies on a circular continuum. As you may know, researches on very high performance ferrites are now exploring the latest evolution of amorphous material and nano-technologies. Solid State Chemistry is somewhat part of researches in that area. Wishing you guys a good luck in your researches, expecting soon you to come with new material making possible for us to package 1KW conversion in a sugar. Keep the good work (-:

Part of my evening recreation is taking Open Courseware courses at MIT (I know, I know! But after a lifetime of raising 5 kids, I deserve a break!). What this has to do with small power, I am not qualified to know. However, the video is marvelous and the inventor is the prof who teaches my Intro to Solid State Chemistry class.
