Yes, there are so many aspects of accuracy and response. Pressure sensors are designed and selected with end application in mind. Requirement for process industry are different from thet of aerospace industry and like Once, end application needs are very well defined, calibrating the required pressure sensor to it becomes more practical.

As long as you get the desired repeatability in a chosen sensor, it is possible to calibrate your sensor to get the predicted reading in a given system, in my opinion.

So more than the accuracy, repeatability is more important factor for relying on the sensor reading.
