Agreed, Casio esp led with breakout products. Unfortunately too early. Market is still young, will a eager young Japanese engineering team step up?

Thank you for showing past, now and future of SmartWatch. As a Japanese it is sad that Japanese companies (like Casio, Sony, Sharp...) are at leading edge in 20 years ago, but far behind US, Korea and China now. We can still make (and do) "good" product, but not really exciting, cutting edge, crazy idea comes from Japanese company in these days.

I used to love wearing a watch as man jewlery and had a few Casio models. Now even though its clunkier, I don't mind checking time on the iPhone strapped to my belt. It's some mix of fashion and utility for me.
