General but unambiguous

This is very educational and informative. The author wrote:

have in mind the difference between describing a concept generally and describing it ambiguously. Your goal should be to help your attorney draft general, but unambiguous, claims.

As a writer, I get the concept -- generally but not necessarily unambiguously. I suspect that this is not exactly an easy thing to do. But it strkes me, after all, engineers who invent technologies, in many ways, should be in a driving seat to describe their claims in unambiguous terms.
