Of course. I'm not thinking on MEMS as a different kind of technology. I mean MEMS is something similar to a 3D analog system -- in addition to signal conditioning ;-)

@Garcia-Lasheras---MEMS is part of the new analog evolution, but remember that MEMS still needs analog signal conditioning before it converts to digital

A Monty Python classic!! This is one of the simpler and better comic gags I've ever seen, LOL

I was in some analog manufacturer booths  at EE Live! and I agree in that analog is not dead: it's in the heart of a lot of new technologies . e.g. wireless, NFC, sensors, PMICs...

By the way... do you think MEMs is the new analog killer-app?? ;-)

King Arthur: I am, and this is my trusty servant Patsy. We have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of knights who will join me in my court at Camelot. I must speak with your lord and master.
Guard: What? Ridden on a horse?
King Arthur: Yes!
Guard: You're using coconuts!
King Arthur: What?
Guard: You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
King Arthur: So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through...
Guard: Where'd you get the coconuts?
King Arthur: We found them.
Guard: Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut's tropical!
King Arthur: What do you mean?
Guard: Well, this is a temperate zone.
And on and on---I love it!
Monty Python is my other idol

@Steve: Actually coconuts are an early form of communication.

Thery are also very useful if you find yourself in need of making the sound of a horse clopping along (now I have "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" in my head)

Actually coconuts are an early form of communication. All you need is two plus a string

@Steve: @Max---you are my idol and I want to be like you when I grow up :)

Ah, if only I had a coconut for everytime someone has said that to me...

... I wouldn't have very many coconuts :-)
