Yes, this also depends on product itself. If it is niche numero uno product and customers are thirsty for this unique product, yes aspire global. If it is jsut n+1 product, do not aspire global.

Good point: startups have limited resources so it is important to apply critical analysis when deciding where to allocate them.  The key is to be open-minded about all opportunities worldwide: the initial investment is higher in a remote location but the ROI might be better.  These are the tough decisions startup execs have to make.

Yes, it is nice to aspire global. But does startups has wherewithal to do this? It depends how you define startups.
