Me too -- thing how fat 3D printing has come over the last few years -- I bet we won't believe what's possible in the next 5, 10, and 20 years...

@Max that could be fun, but the test unit is set to leave earth soon to test it in real space conditions. Of course, there are many steps between that and working out a sustainable plan for 3D printing necessary items, but I do think they will get there eventually.

@Ariella: The Pleasure Dome (my office) provides a rather unique environment -- if the Made In Space folks really want to test their printing technology, tell them to send a unit to me LOL
