Subjective photo impressions of CES from a casual observer's point of view.
As EE Times’ Luddite correspondent, I stubbornly demur interest in any specific technology displayed and demonstrated every year at CES. This frees me to pop randomly into the various show floors and CES venues to take pictures of booths, objects and images that tickle my analog fancy.
This year’s photo pastiche is predictably heavy in the automotive sector, but it also includes spectacular television, audio nostalgia, and an eerily glowing figure study (by Intel) that oddly intimates a tomb statue in a Parisian graveyard.

The coolest electric vehicle I spotted at CES was this skeletal beauty displayed by Denso and billed as “a glimpse into fully automated vehicles in urban environments.”
