Max, are you saying you need calibrated waistband or scale? If it's not traceable to a national standard, can you trust measurements taken with it?

I cut down on the bagels ot 1/2 (sliced) bagel a week. But, I'm not sure Max can cut down on the bacon.

I have quizzes in our backoffice system that will post on the next three Fridays.

Feel free to submit your own multiple-choice questions. Please keep them focused on electrical engineering preferably test & measrurement. We'll excuse Max, for he knows not what he says :-)

Traceable Calibration

Traceable calibration needs to be done before the FIRST significant measurement is attempted. Otherwise you have little assurance of a way to reproduce results. Recommended reading is Traceable Temperatures, 2d Ed by Nicholas & White (Wiley 2001). It's much more about measurement reliability than it is about temperature measurement.
