Interesting how with the rise of the internet, software system's security has become so important. Test, quality and security are collateral items that have become here to stay and be part of the jobs that engineering community have to do well.

David Patterson, known for his pioneering research that led to RAID, clusters and more, is part of a team at UC Berkeley that recently made its RISC-V processor architecture an open source hardware offering.
