One thing I remember was how quite it was at 2000 feet -- three of us jumped one after the other .. .we must have been a couple of hundred yards apart, but since we were all drifting with the wind (and since there was no other source of noise) we could talk to each other and hear each other perfectly...

I totally enjoyed static line jumps! I only stopped due to cost and graduating from college (needed to settle down and get to work). I thought that at some point I would go back to jumping but work, marriage, kids, and responsibilities made me realize that it was fun to jump but that I had moved on. I look back fondly upon the experiences and would not have changed a thing. My advice is: go ahead and try things (that probably won't get you killed)!

I did three static line jumps in my mid-20s ... I remember how happy I felt when I decided not to do any more (grin) Having said that, it was an amazing experience and I would totally recommend it to anyone

Hmmm... I'm not sure... I think that if you had a bunch of guys zipping around the sky like this, then it wouldn't be long before you needed a lot more search and rescue parties...

A bit of adrenlin is good for the system Free fall is much more fun than static line jumps! 12,000 feet to 4500 feet in 1 min 30 sec Could try some buggy rolling http://www.buggy-rollin.com/ Like this crazy French guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obvDwkfZdXA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWLbu1wIIEo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFk3vncVGns&feature=relmfu including at night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcQyKO0ddjw&feature=relmfu I'll just stick with motorbikes for the moment
