This rental approach lets companies use packages they need on occasion without making the investment to buy and support them. "Customers like it, we're seeing more usage all the time," said Owen Tucker, SigmaQuest's marketing VP.
Whether companies so good they decide to buy it or find the software doesn't help, on demand provides a good testuing tool. And if it falls in between, on demand can be a good long term solution for staying up to date.
