It's meant to serve as a starter kit for customers developing industrial M2M monitoring and control applications. The rugged Spectre 3G cellular router includes a free, prepaid, 60-day trial 100MB/100 SMS RacoWireless 3G data plan. The plan enables customers to connect mobile equipment wirelessly over the T-Mobile 3G cellular USA network right out of the box.
The kit is designed to help network engineers jump-start their industrial M2M network designs. It lets users develop solutions before commiting to a full data plan.

The kit includes:

The basic model (Ethernet, I/O, and USB) has an MSRP of $449. Adding a WiFi interface and either an RS-232 or RS-485 serial port brings the kit to $599. More information is available on the B&B website.
