Shrink that hardware

Michelle Khine, a founder of Shrink Nanotechnologies' nanofabrication platform, used Shrinky Dinks material to create a fully microfluidic device without the need for a clean room and sensitive and expensive equipment.

For that feat Khine was named by MIT Technology Review as one of the top 35 global innovators under the age of 35.

Nano tech on the rails

CSNE is determined to get the mega word out about its nano world. It's placing a display at the Rensselaer Rail Station, the 9th-busiest station in the country, serving more than 830,000 people last year, to promote nanotech research at CSNE.
