A View from C-Level
To say Rich Templeton is focused would be an understatement. The minute he walked out of Union College in 1980 with an engineering degree he walked into TI. Twenty-four years later he's risen to chief executive officer, a position he assumed May 1. In the past 10, as COO, he's worked closely with former CEO Tom Engibous to bring a laser focus ý specifically digital signal processing ý to a once broad-line semiconductor supplier. We sat down with Templeton in Dallas just before he assumed the CEO's slot.
