DSP DesignLine

Tundra is giving RapidIO a major upgrade. Its RapidIO Gen2 program offers twice the performance, lower power, and lower system cost than RapidIO 1.3— all while maintaining backwards compatibility. In addition to boosting interconnect speeds 5 Gbaud and 6.25 Gbaud, RapidIO Gen2 adds new lane widths up to 16x.

The upgrades help designers keep up with growing processing and bandwidth demands. Gen2 also gives designers more flexibility and simpler board designs.

For more info, see Tundra's RapidIO Gen2 page.
